It’s the second day of Mid-Program Academic Retreat (MPAR). This is one of the few times that the entire EWMBA class is together at the same time. While I know many people in the class, I still don’t recognize a lot other people. I finally met my fellow blogger, Dutta.
MPAR may be a giant boondoggle, but it is a requirement for graduation. The point for the weekend is to go through a production simulation exercise. Everyone is placed into a team of five. Before the weekend is over, we will go through seven rounds of the exercise. After a really rough start, my team had turned things around. As one of my teammates says, “It’s better to be a winner than a loser.”
On a side note, I somehow missed the email reminding us that this is a BYOB event.
